IRVING, Texas – Dez Bryant had his way in Philadelphia last weekend, and it was a big reason why the Cowboys flew home with a double-digit victory.

I think Week 16 will present a steeper challenge for Dez, and his ability to meet that challenge will say a lot about this game. That, and my other important matchup to know for Sunday, below:

Cowboys WR Dez Bryant against Colts CBs Vontae Davis and Greg Toler

Last week against the Eagles, Bradley Fletcher was no match for Dez Bryant. Against the Colts that might be a different story – they have much better corners.

Vontae Davis and Greg Toler both are talented players, and with the way defensive coordinator Greg Manusky likes to bring pressure, his two corners are matched up one-on-one the majority of the snaps. No matter what side the Cowboys decide to send Bryant to, he is going to have to fight for space --especially if the Colts can get them in third down, where they are the best in the league at getting off the field.

Tougher to pass, but easier to run is my guess. The Eagles are very good against and very committed to stopping the run.

X, to me, this current Dallas offense was designed to optimally handle even a good defense, that doesn't equal to a Seattle type stifling group. Once this season, this group even handled them for a victory.

Not trying to dis these players but Colts secondary is not that good as a whole, heck they have given up more TD passes than Dallas and have fewer ints than Dallas.

Yes, and they play quite a bit of man. Even more so this week because there is no way they can stop our run game without stacking the box. Their corners might be good but they're not covering Dez with one guy. This may wind up looking a lot like the Eagles game. The Colts commit everything to stopping the run and Dez goes off on their over-matched corners.

Each week is a different challenge personnel wise. The Eagles are better on both sides of the LOS than the Colts. That was among last weeks challenges.

Agreed, this game is a challenge because of Luck and Hilton. If we could get off the field periodically our offense will score enough pts to win.

As whole, maybe but V. Davis hasn't given up a TD this year. I think their CBs stay put on one side and don't move around. I hope our coaches are smart enough to move Dez around so that he doesn't line up against Davis majority of time.

The biggest thing to remember about the Colts is that they've gone up against Jacksonville twice and against Tennessee.

Every single game they've played against a competent QB with legitimate weapons, they've lost.

These corners are the best corners we will face this year.

Do you remember what Big Ben did to them this year? He absolutely destroyed the pass defense. Granted, Vontae Davis got hurt in that game, but it wouldn't have mattered.

From what i have seen this year, Vontae Davis almost always lines up on the right side of the defense. Put Dez in the slot or the right side of the offense... problem solved.
