DC: Spagnola: Whole Lot Of Roster Shakin’ Going On To Get To 53-Man Limit

Here is the latest 53 man guess by Micky Spagnola, http://www.dallascowboys.com/news/2...ole-lot-roster-shakin’-going-get-53-man-limit. I know he's been around a while, but I have some real issues about some of the players on or off his list.
1. The first is the O-line, where he gives a list of possible swing tackles, but leaves out Emmett Cleary. At 6-7, 325, Cleary has very good feet, and can play both the run or pass with equal ability.

2. In listing possible DTs who could make the roster, he fails to even mention Woody Baron, a hybrid who has shown the ability to play the 3-tech with speed, quickness, & power-always seeming to be around the ball.

3. A top 3 TE list without Rico Gathers in it? Really? Dude is the future TE of this team, with massive size & basketball athleticism. To say Gathers does not quality as a major player is a real head shaker. Come on, Spags!

Rico might be PUP or IR.

I actually kind of prefer that if we are intent on taking 3 quarterbacks...it might save Noah.

I give Baron zero percent chance of making the roster.

Cleary struggled against 2nd/3rd team players at LT.

He's trying to put Rico on IR but he does not appear to understand the rules on IR-return. Players have to be on the initial 53 man roster before being moved to IR-return.

Can't be on PUP. Same as every year at this time...any player that took 1 snap in camp can't be on PUP.

IR-return does not save a spot on the initial cut date. The player has to be moved to IR later; otherwise they can't return.

I guess you were mislead... Or it's a way to stash him, but I seriously doubt that. I have a feeling he's telling peeps George Jefferson is the President and he's ready to go out and prove 2+2 is Pi.
Probably cray sensitive to light and noise also... although I wouldn't know about such things... Especially proving the 2+2 part. It's already been proven!

I have actually some talk about using IR as a way to stash him.

It makes sense, he is 4th on the depth chart and unlikely to be active on game days considering his lack of blocking.

Clearly is our best swing tackle. I would love for it to be Chaz Green or Bell. But it looks like Green will be hurt daily, while Bell is going to go to guard.

He did well for Smith last year. But I agree on all 3 lol

If you said there is no such thing as a trivial concussion, I would agree; however, mild is a rating and Doctor's definitely rate the severity of concussions.
