Not that he's that much better, but I actually enjoy listening to Broadus a lot more than Mickey. At least he has the guts to tell it like it is. Mickey's a delusional homer.

IRVING, Texas – No one is happy.

Not you for sure.

Not Jerry or Stephen.

Not Jason Garrett, nor the assistant of your choice.

And certainly not the players.

Kind of reminds me of this poem’s final verse:

Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright;
The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light,
And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout;
But there is no joy in Mudville – mighty Casey has struck out.

Yeah, the Cowboys, too.

For the fourth consecutive season the Cowboys must sit home to watch them others play this weekend: Philadelphia and New Orleans, Green Bay and San Francisco, then Kansas City and Indianapolis, Cincinnati and San Diego. Then next week Seattle and Carolina, Denver and New England join the NFL postseason party. But no Cowboys, experiencing their longest absence from the playoffs since the five-season span from 1986 to 1990, but not quite as devastating as those six years to start this century when the Cowboys qualified for the playoffs only once from 2000-2005.

I do like Mickey, he is clearly a homer but he kind of cheers me up when I'm down on the Cowboys but he took it to a whole different level with this article, it began while taliking about Landry and Garrett, smh, then he totally lost me when he said Garrett has not made mistakes.

Exactly..............if Garrett has not made any mistakes, then what the hell was Jerry talking about when he said that the team is going to benefit in the future from all the mistakes Garrett made during these 3 years of training?

If Garrett made no mistakes, then why is Jerry saying we have too much time and too many growing pains invested in Garrett to just let him go to another team and have them benefit from the mistakes Garrett made here?

The two statements are contradicting each other.........................how can Garrett learn from his mistakes if he never made any mistakes to begin with?........................So is Mickey calling Jerry a liar?

the only thing that is more frustrating than hearing jones' "it's entertainment" line of bs (too many quotes to put them all in here) are the YES men that are employed by Jones to try to make the team look better than they are and to make them look like they aren't dysfunctional...If not for crawling up Jones' butt, what else would this guy do for a living?

the thing that is "ghastly wrong" is thinking that nothing is wrong....my God, if I hadn't actually seen video of this guy and only saw things in print, I would SWEAR that it was jones putting these articles out there

THIS JUST IN: regardless of the decisions made by the FO, Mickey will agree with them (idiot)

I find comparing Garrett to Tom Landry EXTREMELY offensive and to say Garrett hasn't made mistakes truly shows he is a 100% homer who can see no wrong with this team. Mickey just lost what little respect I had left for him.

I don't think he's delusional, he's just kissing JJ rear-end to keep his job. I'd love to know what he really thinks.
