FRISCO, Texas - Following Dez Bryant's release last Friday, the Cowboys are moving forward at wide receiver.

Noah Brown will emerge as our #1 WR.
Book it....

Well, ok, don’t book it, but I am pulling for him to show enough to stay on the roster. But the odds will be against him.
They signed 2 FA WR’s. Have TWill, and they are too stubborn to part with Beasley or Switzer, as they think smurfs are better than big body fast guys. Then if they draft several then that is the writing on the wall for Brown. Which will be another dumb mistake IMO.

i too think noah brown could be a sleeper. big wr with a lot of upside. just needs to be allowed to compete and given sufficient reps to show his stuff.

The idea, I believe, is once you have painfully let go of key players (Smith, Dez, DeMarcus Ware, Aikman, etc.) Is to win. It's not enough to let go of these players and say it's a business, then keep losing. No, you need to win, since your making these major changes, hopefully you are making these changes so we can get better.

Jaylon Smith isn't the only Cowboys player suffering from drop foot. On Friday the 13th the Cowboys dropped their foot squarely in the back side of Dez Bryant:lmao:

I have had the feeling all along that Stephen was the main reason for cutting Dez. He is greedy with money and he hates to see those big contracts.

Hurns, Twill, Beasley, Switzer, Thompson, Brown

That aint called competition Stevie boy, that is called a POS receiving core...........probably the worst in the league

If that is our lineup on opening day......................wow...................Zeke better get ready for 8 man fronts every down.

I pray that this "moving forward" thing includes more than just bolstering the offense. It's high time for the defense to get help as well. The LB, DL and S positions cry out for help just as surely as the offense does. The FO sorely needs to attend to all their needs for a change.

Let's hope the war room staff sees fit to act upon those needs, also. I don't think there's any doubt but what the WR corps will get bolstered in the draft. There's plenty of room for improvement on both sides of the ball. Here's hoping we'll witness that come April 26th and beyond. ;)

You can look at Dez's comments after he was released to realize there was a lot more to it than just money

It's just awful. If anything happens to Zeke or the OL we are screwed. Nobody's going to respect the passing game.

You guys forgot the legend,, Rico........the guy who's a super star in preseason... *chants* Rico, Rico..
