Beating a team that continuously drafts in the top 5 isn't a big accomplishment and I don't see anyone who claims it is.

Which proves teams drafting in the top 5 continuously doesn’t assure they’ll build a good team. There’s a number of teams picking high year after year they always seem to end up with about the same record.

That's why maybe they should look to do it a different way maybe a little like the NBA or something else

I don’t know how the NBA does it but the draft is a crapshoot even in the top 5. A lot of players don’t turn out. Some players drafted later turn out a lot better. The best players we have now were drafted after the top 10. We would’ve passed them up had we had a higher pick.

Oh my gosh I don't even watch it anymore, it's hard to watch. No doubt that she knows the game, but her voice, uhh! Maybe it's the pretty face that's keeping her on???

Start utilizing the speed that is on this roster, peeps saying we don't have enough speed are confused, this team has plenty, it's just not properly used.
Why does MM hesitate with getting Turp and Vaughn not more involved in some space, some roaming room to start softening up some of these stout defenses we will be facing?
Every team that we face and will face will attack our perimeter, this is like offense 101 here in this game, speed is a need and a necessity.

Was there anyone considering "hanging a banner" after a forgettable win against a garbage team last night?

Yes.....there are at least a dozen here that truly believe that we have a great team and the victory over the lowly Giants was meaningful.

But I respect their right to be delusional.

If anyone thinks the run defense has been fixed because we shut down a mediocre Giants team you better think again. Let’s see us shut down a good running team. The Giants are currently 28th running the ball. Philly and Washington are in the top five. San Francisco is currently 10th and that’s without McCafferty who may be back for the Cowboys game.

What surprised me was the “ Super Bowl “ winning scout Broadus plus his podcast amigo both had predicted Giants win. Broadus in particular predicted more run defense problems . I had 30-17 Dallas before game thinking Singletary would not give Dallas trouble . C’mon man . Singletary really ?

I think the reality is that while some people are a little grumpy about the state of things...they must be loyal fans to keep hanging in there.

Like I told you in my note, people just want more...they want shades of our legacy...and maybe that's just unreasonable at this point. Being elated at this kind of win because..well...a win is a win...while knowing full well parts are starting to loosen...yet again!...isn't where some want to be.

I said it last week...it's not just losing...it's the way you lose. That might apply to wins too...maybe. Sometimes.

The Giants did not punt until 3:13 left ins the 3rd quarter. The Cowboys never got past the 25 yards line in the 2nd half hitting 2 FGs one of 60 yards for 6 points. In the Cleveland game, the had only 49 yards total in the second half.

This team has problems everywhere. Anytime they win is it going to be a big deal.
