In years past, Johnson's pre-combine classes have included more than a dozen players and some very high draft picks. Along with guys like Ndamukong Suh and Darren McFadden, he's worked with current Cowboys Felix Jones and Brandon Williams. Veterans such as Akin Ayodele, Patrick Crayton, Marion Barber, Martellus Bennett and Bradie James have also trained at the center in recent offseasons.
....
The effects of Johnson's partnership with the Cowboys are more focused on youth initiatives, though he and his staff do keep open communications with the weight room at Valley Ranch. During a lockout, the team would not be allowed to supervise player workouts or have any communications with the players. Still, a connection between the team's strength and conditioning staff and the those who will be training some of the players in the interim can be valuable.
