The DBs missing time is a huge concern for me especially if we suffer any injuries to any of our DBs who are playing.

Same here. Not enough time for them to learn what they need to as it is, they are definitely behind the eight ball. That said, we seem to be the hammy capitol of the world, and I would rather they rest them and get them back to 100% than rush it and have them turn into another Austin.

Every freaking year we get defensive rookies that we hope will contribute and every freaking year they miss huge chunks of training camp and basically red shirt the rest of the season.

Hoping these guys can heal up and be ready soon. Interesting that we let guys go partly due to the opinion that younger guys are healthier guys (referenced that multiple times during draft) and the young guys we've brought in have missed so much time during camp. It doesn't invalidate the premise, just interesting.

I was SOOOOO looking forward to seeing the spiffy new DBs playing.....especially Awuzie (my favorite player that we drafted - still shocked we got him late 2nd, thought he was a late first, early 2nd value)
