[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]First let me say this. If you blame Tony Romo for this loss you're a moron! He was the only guy out there with enough focus, heart and desire to even keep this team in the game. I completely expect him to lead this team to a Super Bowl when Jerry decides to find a few more players of his ilk who have some mental toughness. Was he perfect in this game? No, and no one ever is so I didn't expect him to be. But he was not the one dropping passes, getting stupid penalties and missing tackles for four quarters. This kid is the last person to blame right now.

So who's the first person? Wade Phillips. Now we know why no other teams wanted him as a head coach. He's a great defensive coordinator and that's it. When are we getting this dominant defense that we all expected from him? He can't even see that Jacques Reeves stinks so how good of a head coach could he be in all reality. Wade is the one who is the leader of an unfocused, undisciplined and lazy playoff football team and so he's getting the blame right now. Trust me, if these guys came out focused, disciplined and worked hard in this game I would give Wade all the credit in the world. It's simple - he did not have this team ready to play today.

Now about these players. Let's start with some good stuff.

Tony Romo - I feel so bad for him. He's out there yelling and cussing at his offensive line to get it together after being knocked around time and time again. The kid has the heart of a lion and he will bring this team a championship one day.

Marion Barber - You are a champion who brings it every week and for this to be the first start all season for you is just a travesty. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see you next season.
Jason Witten - Every week you are the most dependable player on the field. This is why you are the #1 TE in the NFL right now and I can't wait to see you next season.

Terrell Owens - Warrior. The man came back in three weeks after a high ankle sprain and gave it all he could in this game. His post game comments where he was so emotional that he was brought to tears in defending him Romo tells you that he's a guy you want on your team. I will be looking forward to another great season from him next year.

Jay Ratliff - His motor never stops going and his play speaks for itself. Very smart move by Jerry to lock him up for a few more years.

Here are some more players I look forward to seeing next season: Bradie James, Chris Canty, Ken Hamlin, Terence Newman, Mat McBriar and Nick Folk.

Now for the bad and just remember that my heart is broken right now, plus I am so mad I could punch my way to China.

Offensive line - The discipline is just disgusting by this unit and it has been that way all season. They are a very good unit in pass blocking and then today they fall apart when it matters the most. The penalties are a real sign that they are not focused. This unit was terrible in the second half and they looked lethargic and lazy. Is Flozell really that good that he is worth all the stupid mental penalties? Why did Leonard Davis wait until today to show how stupid he is? Is Marc Colombo trying to battle for the league lead in false start penalties? Gurode needs work on his shotgun snaps ASAP so next season he can be consistent.

Jacques Reeves and Anthony Henry - Please tell me there are better CB's in Free Agency or in the draft so I don't have to deal with these two next season. Reeves just stinks and opposing offenses targeted him every chance they got. Henry can't be counted on and now he has become a poor tackler.

Coaching staff - Sometimes there are way too many communication problems. Why is that? Romo is constantly having to rush the snap with 1 second left on the play clock. Jason Garrett still has some things to work on as an offensive coordinator nevermind him being a head coach. Todd Bowles is the secondary coach and why he wants his CB's 15 yards off the WR's all the time is just amazing. How many times this season have we seen an opposing WR catch a pass and turn to run with no one even within 5 yards to tackle him? That's poor technique and something has to change. When was the last time we saw a forced fumble? Did this offense even run one trick play this season? This had to be the worst kick/punt return coverage in a season we have seen for about 7 or 8 years.

Laid back approach - This approach led to an undisciplined and unfocused football team losing in a home playoff game where they looked like a 5 win football team.

Patrick Crayton - I really wish Jerry would cut you tomorrow!!! You are constantly talking in the media every chance you get and then in the biggest game of the season you come out and drop an easy pass and then stop running on a route where you could have caught the game winning TD. It looks like Romo overthrew this moron, but if you look at the replay you will see him stop the route and then start running again. I really can't even stand the idea that you will be back next season. There is nothing I hate more than a big fat mouth player who comes out and can't walk the walk after talking the talk.

Now for some random thoughts.

Jerry Jones - I feel really bad for this guy. He is the best owner in the NFL and works so hard to bring us fans a championship team and then he can't even enjoy one playoff win. Just keep working hard Jerry and I support all the decisions you make in the next few months.

Free Agency - I am sick to my stomach that I am already trying to focus on FA because this season has now ended. Go get a CB, a SS, a FB and a Punt Returner who can make some dynamic plays which help this team win football games.

The Draft - I will take a CB, a LG, an ILB and a WR in the first four rounds. If Jerry goes and gets McFadden or Stewart to team up with MBIII I will be very happy.

The 2007 season - It's over and I am pissed off.

TO gave all he had in this game but dropped some balls as well. How much of that was rust of course is a question. Barber did not play well in the second half. Romo made some dumb plays. Crayton I truly would like to CUT RIGHT NOW. Outside of Ware and Witten who else really played great today?

i think the giants adjusted in the 2nd half. they had more people on the LOS. that was obvious. the infuriating thing is that romo and garrett didnt make the giants pay for cheating up on he LOS.

Very good read! I totally agree with everything you said. Unfortuantely we have Crayton signed along with Roy williams so we are stuck with them! I have defended Roy most of the year but whatever it costs, it costs us more having him out there. Such a sad day!

He was when he first came to Dallas.

He has told us many times that he has learned from his past and it's very rare that people change their stripes.

Kudos to him for doing so.

So your attempt at trying to call me out failed miserably.

the fact that you called TO every name in the book and swore to never cheer fo him no matter what he did in dallas. to now contridicing that i find funny. but good for you, that saw that what u said earlier about TO was stupid. good for you

I disagree with the laid back approach. Parcells' Cowboys teams weren't laid back, and they lost 2 playoffs games. It wouldn't have mattered if they were home, because we would have played not to lose...and would have most likely lost!

You're right. T.O. is the same guy he was two years ago and he was just joking when he said he's changed while learning from his mistakes.

God This Sucks, I Live Cowboys Football... I Really Believe T.o. Does Too. Crayton Let Us Down Today, But He Was Very Good This Year And If Him Sucking Our Team Down This Year Hurt Us As Fans I Got To Believe He Will Work Twice As Hard This Off Season To Make Sure That He Can Never Be A Goat Again. Coaching Is The Real Reason For This Terrible End. Romo Is The Best Thing To Happen To Our Franchise In Ten Years And I Feel Great Going On Into The Next Few Years With Him At The Helm. I Say Cut Wade Loose And Keep Garret Here By Giving Him The Keys To Our Incredibly Talented Team And Get This Thing On The Road To The O9 Superbowl. Get That New Runner To Compliment Mbiii And Some Secondary Studs, Draft A Free Agency For Our Team Has Been A Real Strong Suit The Last Four Years, If We Keep That Going We Are Right On The Verge Of Greatness.
