When I hear from some good sources that the Cowboys are definitely not interested in drafting Dez Bryant then I will pass on him.

Until then if he's there at #27 and guys like Iupati, Pouncey, Earl Thomas and Kyle Wilson are off the board then he's the pick.

I wonder if Dez is on the board if the Cardinals don't trade back with a 2nd round team and take a QB with their 1st pick and Dez goes at 26.

Very nice, DC.

I'm still thinking that the Pats take Odrick and that Miami takes D Williams.

At the end of the day, under this scenario, I do think Dez is the best option. You think Odrick makes it out of the first? Lots of love for him going around right now.

I know, but I think the Pats, Jets and Packers can't pass on pass rushers.

If the Jets sign Jason Taylor I would then give them Odrick.

I think the Pats would love him, but they are done waiting on Adalius Thomas so they need a pass rusher.

I'm actually warming to the idea of Dez.

I usually don't go for idiots but his talent level may be that good.

All I have heard in the last week was that all of the red flag stuff was overrated on him.

To be blunt I think his problem is that he's as dumb as a rock.

When you can ball like he can some people around you aren't all that interested in making sure your education is top notch. And when his mom was a crackhead it's safe to assume the kid wasn't doing too much reading and homework as a youngster.

But now he's an adult. Whatever team drafts him has to willing to put in a lot of time between scheduled activities to make sure he's acting like a professional athlete. That's going to be a major task. But not something that can't be done.

With Jerry Jones I could actually see him very willing to accept that challenge if he can grab this kid at the #27 spot. If it works out he can look back in three years and Dez would be the steal of the draft.

The the entire organization can pat themselves on the back for helping out a kid from humble beginnings.

We all know he's the biggest risk-reward player in this draft.

But the reward of molding him into a highly respected man who is also a professional athlete may wind up being the real meat of this sandwich.

Yeah, I think that might be the case too.

I don't think he has poor intentions just poor life skills and decisions.

One thing is for sure, whatever organization takes him owes it to him to put additional work in getting his life prepared. He damn sure won't be when he signs that contract.

I'm thinking this way as well, but I also think this is a pretty good first 32.

Where is Damaryius Thomas?

The kid with the broken foot who can't workout and comes from an offense that never threw the ball?

In the second round where he belongs.

I think Dez will be taken by the Bengals or the Ravens. He makes a lot of sense for both and even at #21 he is worth the risk. I'm starting to believe that Gresham will drop to the top of rd/2. If the draft fell this way though, I would take Dez at #27 and feel like I got the BPA by a ways.
