I'm talking players just not executing, now that too falls to Garrett. As HC it is his job and the job of the staff to have these players ready and if they are not getting it done then you find someone who can do the job. So those who think I'm somehow excusing Garrett are flat out wrong.

As for play calling you will have calls within every game that will come into question be it Jason Garrett or Bill Belicheck difference is players executing. If a play fails the coach is stupid if the play works people claim the coach is gutsy.

Maybe to the average, uneducated fan. I've been preaching for at least 3 years now, rather a play call works or not has nothing to do if it was a good call or not. Bales says this exact same thing in the article, one of the few times I agree with him.
