Started all 12 games at defensive end...in only his first year playing the position, he led the Bulls with nine sacks on the season and also recorded 45 total tackles...the nine sacks tied for the most by a UB player in the Division I-A era (since 1999)...he earned the 2006 ‘U Believe’ award as the team’s best defensive lineman....also had a team-best 13.5 tackles for loss...recorded two sacks at Northern Illinois (9/16)...registered 1.5 sacks and recovered a fumble against Miami (OH) (10/15)...had two sacks and three quarterback hurries against Kent State (11/4)...earned two sacks and blocked a kick at Wisconsin (11/18)...recorded a season-high eight tackles against Central Michigan (11/14).

Played in seven games as a reserve tight end...had eight catches for 55 yards on the season...had a career-best six catches for 42 yards, including a season-high 21-yarder at Western Michigan (10/1)...had a catch for six yards at Syracuse (9/10) and a catch for seven yards at Toledo...also had a pair of special teams tackles.

Twice an All-Northern selection at Potsdam HS for coach Jimmy Kirka while playing tight end and outside linebacker...earned two letters and was twice a captain...was team MVP as both a junior and senior and was a Watertown Daily Times first-team selection ...also earned four letters in track and field and two in basketball...greatest athletic experience was catching the game-winning touchdown and two-point conversion in the final :30 of a high school game to win by a point.

12/03/07 - Senior defensive end Trevor Scott was invited to play in the second annual Texas vs. The Nation All-Star Challenge. The game will be played on Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Sun Bowl in El Paso, TX. Scott is the first Buffalo player to be invited to the game. Scott led the Bulls with 10 sacks and was second on the team with 15 tackles for loss. He fell one half of a sack shy of finishing first in the Mid-American Conference. In two seasons at defensive end, Scott has totaled 19 sacks, the third highest total in school history. 11/28/07 - 2007 All-MAC Second Team (Media): Down Lineman – Trevor Scott, a senior defensive end, was named All-MAC Second Team. He finished second in the conference and 18th in the nation with 10 sacks to go along with 46 tackles (15 for loss), seven quarterback hurries and three forced fumbles. 11/19/07 - LOOKING GOOD: DE Trevor Scott registered 1.5 sacks, giving him 9.5 for the season, the fourth-best season for any Buffalo defensive player. Scott, the converted TE, now also has 18.5 career sacks, third in school history.
