We better take another DE, we still need depth. Mayowa being the primary backup pass rusher isn’t good enough. Especially with Lawrence being so iffy to stay healthy.

I like Thomas though. A lot of untapped potential. 2nd round might be a little early tho, seems like he has a good amount of work left to reach his full potential though. But then again if he blows up the combine all bets are off.

Tapper and Gregory should be viewed as icing on the cake at this point if either comes back and develops. They should not base offseason plans at DE around the belief that Tapper and Gregory will be part of the rotation.

I agree with you but I bet in the war room Jerry will bring them up. Especially Gregory.

Although I think it's far more likely Tapper plays a role for this team in 2018 than Gregory. I actually suspect barring injury, Tapper will be in the DE rotation next year.

It would be interesting if Gregory gets reinstated but even if he does he needs to be considered the 10th of 10 DL on the 53.

I think Dallas needs to add two more players to the dline. Preferably a one tech and another defensive end.

And Jerry drafted his first razor back in like 2008 and I don't think he's drafted one since.

I am a Miami Hurricanes fan, Thomas would definitely be on my radar. He's got some good burst off the line and shows pretty good pass rushing skill. Keep in mind Thomas was coached up by arguably the best D-Line coach in the country (Craig Kuligowski) so he will come in fairly well prepared for the NFL.
