DE Snap Counts

I'm all for moving Micah around. Make the offense try and find him before every single snap.

Maybe.

In 2021, he played primarily DE in 4 games and they were 2-2 in those games and 10-3 when he played more snaps at LB.

In 2022 from game 7 to 16 he played more snaps at LB once. They were 8-1 when he was primarily DE and 0-1 when he was primarily LB.

Definitely in games 7, 8 and 10 to 16 when he played almost all snaps at DE.
My opinion is if he’s gonna play strictly DE in a game he needs to be around 70% of snaps to be his most effective
Last year he played a higher pct of snaps but a lot of them were at LB which is much easier
Ideally all pass rusher play around 70% and they play better to me. But I get why a DC wants his most impactful player on the field

How do the percentages on a given week combine to be over 200%? Are more than two people listed as DE if we have a 5 man line on a given play?

How is game one primarily LB if Parsons has 100% at DE?

The graph is not clear.

It says "DE snap counts" and is in %.
Is it % of defensive snaps that player was at DE?
Is it the % of that player's snaps that were at DE?

The graph matters.

I think it's a good sign we'll be getting Sam Williams back, and then some rest for the others.

That's probably what they need. I really just don't want to see Parsons banged up in the playoffs.
