I think, because the league may be operationg under last year's rules, the ONLY DE that will officially be an UFA will be Spears. Bowen & Hatcher haven't accrued 6 years yet. That would leave the 'Boys with Igor, Bowen, Hatcher, Lissemore, and Clifton Geathers. That's why they haven't touched DE I believe.

With Rob Ryan's attacking scheme, it wouldn't surprise me to see Josh Brent get significant snaps subbing in for Jay Ratliff. That'll keep nose tackle fresher for the the entire season and maximize effectiveness.

Yes, this is our best thing to do. At least we know what we have. Maybe, Ryan can do some good things with Spears. Bowen has been improving each year. Could be a breakout year for him under Ryan.

Maybe DT Frank Kearse 6-4 315 from Alabama A&M here in the 7th.

He could project anywhere along the DL with that kind of size.
