I tuned in to the Yankees game today to check out the new stadium and see what it looked like and all that stuff. Nice crib..!!

But as for the game itself, well Cleveland just put up a 9-spot in the 2nd (and there is only 1 out as I write these words)... I have a feeling Joe Girardi is not going to be around for too much longer :D

this is the 2nd time in 3 games that the Indians have put up 9 runs in one inning against the yanks this season. though this time they got bases loaded with only 1 out still!!!!!!

I love it!

Edit: the Indians scored 14 runs in the 2nd inning!

I know that if a pitcher has a crappy first outing, it can balloon the ERA out of proportions, but he could have gone out today and given up 9 runs in 3 innings and the darn thing would have come down. :D

34.50 has absolutely got to be a record for a guy 3 starts into the season.

I don't think this is Girardi. I think this is the new Stadium. That stadium has already given up something like 24 Dingers. Right field is playing very short. It's like hitting BP at Yankee Stadium these days. That Stadium has given up more long balls then any other in the history of the game thus far. They gotta do something to change the airflow of that stadium. I was watching the Indians game yesterday and AJ Burnett threw a pretty good pitch. Up and in and the hitter turned on it with just one hand on the wood and it flew out, just this side of the left field foul poll. I mean, the ball is literally jumping out of the ball park there. It's worse then the old Launch Pad in Atlanta or even Coors. It's crazy. They gotta do something to change that up. I don't care if you have Cy Young, Roger Clemens, Sandy Koufax, Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson and Mariano Rivera on your staff. If the ball carries like it is now, it won't matter. Yankess are built for pitching right now. At this rate, they better fix that ball park or trade pitching for hitting cause they'll have to outscore everybody. They can't count on ptiching.

Ah...............the Yankees are at .600, third best record in the AL, and tied with the Red Sox for second place in the AL East behind Toronto............

Cowboy fans, more so and above any other football fan, should appreciate the blind "hate on the Yankee's" thing. Where's the beef? The last several "Red Sox Nation" years, the Yankees start awful slow and fight like hell in September. Looks their ahead of the curve this year. As we speak, their one of the best teams in the AL.

Oh, I forgot. Yankee haters want to glorify one game that's GONNA' HAPPEN from time to time. Just as the Cowboy haters MAGINFY every little meaningless, nothing, supposed slight that happens to Dallas.

There's 147 games left in the season. Watch your "Yankee bashing" closely, or you just might (probably) end up eating crow in October.........
