With Arizona looming. I hope the team don't forget the Deadskins would love nothing but to upset them.

Even considering how passionate this rivalry, I'm not sure even George Allen if he were here could get Washington to overachieve enough. Just a bad team.

I agree. A weak team, followed by a tough one. Though the AZ game isn't on the road, which is normally an important part of the trap.

I don't think we'll overlook the Sk*ns, regardless. They might play great and beat us, but I don't think we'll beat ourselves against a weaker team. Jason's done a good job of making sure that doesn't happen often during his tenure.

Not a trap; Washington is more important as a divisional game than Arizona. Sure the coaches will emphasize it.

its been a long time since ive been this confident in a win, and that makes me nervous. i dont see how we lose, to.s, special teams, romo hurt, maybe

The game they may actually lose is Jacksonville. Looking to they bye, staying out late in London, distractions....

Isn't every game a "trap game" at this point? I'm sure we'll see more trap threads this season. Probably at least 1 a week.

Anyway, I don't get the impression that these guys are overlooking the Skins.

Any talk of trap game becomes irrelevant as soon as the ball kicks off. Nobody is thinking Arizona when he has a 280-pound Commander charging at him at high speed.

Garrett actually does have the team playing 'em one game at a time. I don't think this team looks ahead very much at all. Jason preaches make today's practice great, and I really think the team listens.

As good as this team is... I still don't see them as full of themselves.

I would hope too see their best effort of the season so far.

Monday night the whispers of being overrated.

I'm worried about the Jax game.

CowboysZone posters seem to think every game is a trap game.

I'm not attacking the OP; just saying.

This. Every game seems like its been a trap game to everyone...

Porsters were trying to make arguments that the seahawks game would be a trap game before our first divisional opponent in the giants..

Eh, I don't consider divisional games trap games considering how hard the teams play each other because of the rivalry and everything. Commanders aren't very good and there's a good chance we blow them out, but I wouldn't be surprised if they kept it close though. I'm pretty sure some fans are looking towards the Arizona game already and that's understandable, but we still have to play the Commanders and they won't lay down for us.

If your logic is good it suggests trap games are never a concern. Is that really your position?
