What is going on with the boys when they get into the RedZone?!?!?
It seems like we'll make great plays all the way down the field, once we hit the redzone we die. Perfect example the other day, we had a few opportunities but couldn't cash in.

Why is SL dialing up pass plays when we run the ball well, we get down there and start calling pass plays ending up with a possible field goal. I swear I don't understand it!!!!!
This is one of my main problems with SL, you have the #1 rusher yet you put the ball in Dak's hands...

I understand that the defense changes when they get there but C'mon man, the guy can't dial up good goal line plays with Zeke or what?

This will keep us from advancing in the playoffs if they don’t get it fixed and figured out.
it's got to be on the playcalls, 1st and goal and you attempt 3 passes and a fieldgoal, that's on SL.
he still needs to be on that list of fired coaches in the last few weeks.

On more than one occasion, I have witnessed some of the worst designed WR routes in the endzone. I forget which game it was, but we had three wrs all run stop routes in the end zone. Dak got sacked of course because all the WR's were standing in the end zone with a DB right beside them. For whatever reason, Linehan pulls out his preseason playbook once we hit the redzone.

How hard is it to steal plays from other teams?
Eagles ran that quick WR screen to Jefferies from the 2 yd line. That's the same play Seattle runs constantly at goal line. Creates a natural pick and get WR moving.
Bears running three tackles with tackle eligible.
Browns misdirection to WR then RB.

This offense is built on spacing, when the field shrinks we have less space to operate.

Linehan refuses to pound the ball for whatever reason.

They'll never expect a curl route every time in the redzone.

everyone knows we usually run on 1st down, they usually stop us too.
and right now they know SL doesn't use Zeke either

Scratch the TE’s and WR’s, just line up gaurds and tackles into a Super Jumbo Package and pound the rock...

The field is the same size as it was when we ranked 3rd and 6th in red zone TD% in 2016 and 2017.

And we are running the ball in the red zone -- just not nearly as successfully as 2016-17.

The biggest reason for the steep decline is probably the absence of Witten, followed by the absence of Dez, and OL issues. At least that makes the most sense of anything anybody's come up with so far.

Really do miss that big body in the middle to open up rushing lanes and to draw coverage away from Cooper and Gallup.
