Dean vs Lloyd

Not happening…Parsons doesn’t have the bulk to play with his hand in the dirt for 17 games and it’d be a waste of utilizing his strengths.

Play him like you did this year…it was money.

This….Parsons is a perfect fit for a 3-4 OLB. He’s NOT a full time, hand in the dirt 4-3 DE. I’d use him like the Steelers use TJ Watt or how Denver used Von Miller all those years. He’s THAT guy…

Nakobe Dean is Lavonte David, Devin Lloyd is Darius Leonard.

Both players would be great additions to the defense.

i prefer dean...i saw him play more than lloyd.
id be happy with either.
there are some good LBs in this class beyond the 1st 2 rounds i like.

i am not opposed to drafting a LB in the first but i need more than a good run support guy ,those guys can be found in later RDs.

Dean and Llloyd are far more than being run support guys. I believe Lloyd had 6 sacks and 4 picks this year.

Even talking about LB in rd 1 when there will be OL (Linderbaum or Green) and DL (Davis) starters sitting there for the taking is bad karma

You gotta take the best player available. The offensive tackles and quality defensive linemen will be eaten up early in this draft. Our best bet will be a tweener pass rusher, off ball linebacker, and interior offensive linemen. We need all three positions.

LOL please. OL and DL will not be “eaten up” by pick 24 in rd 1 LOL. There will be several top end players available like Linderbaum, Green, Penning, Davis etc all much better options and value than Dean

Davis is a run stuffing defensive tackle. The Cowboys never draft those guys early. Every other guy you mentioned will be a top 20 pick including Dean. I wonder what draft boards you are going by.

I don’t think all these guys will be fine by 24

I think Davis will be great for our defense

But if you think Dean will be a top 20 pick and out of our range what is your point exactly?

My point is that we will get a quality player at 24. Who really knows who that will be. I bet 3 quarterbacks will find their way into the top 20 and move players down to us.

The worst thing you can do I’m the first round is force need over value.

Im cooling off if Dean at 24 but if the clear cut BPA is not OL you have to take him. Traditionally you can find great OGs in round 2 due to the value of the position.
