Former 2009 fifth round draft pick was released by the Lions today. I remember Dallas thinking of moving him to safety when they drafted him, and wanted to get him a year on the practice squad. I wonder if the Cowboys have any interest in bringing him in to try him at safety.

Both Cincinnati DBs have been bouncing around the league. They just missed evaluating those guys.

If he's so good why's he available?

YES we want him back, sign him 50 million up front.

Jones has declared it Smith day in Texas and he will be flown back immediately, no out there is better.

Why the hell would we re-sign him and try him at safety? We just drafted a safety, we still have Ball, Mike Hamlin, Sensabaugh, and Watkins.

Dont you know, when a player, any player is released, they can immediately upgrade dallas at any given time or position. We want em all or we rue another day.

It will not happen. Campo really likes the two guys we brought in. He said they are better athletically.

IM sorry when was Campo a poster here? Does he know what hes missing out on? Did he really see DeAngelo for himself and make up that proclomation up by himself and his career in this league? I think NOT, bring him back instantly and lets avenge ourselves of this tragic accident of dumping this soon to be HoF Cornerback and roll out the red carpet for sub par play and speed. He only lost to a kick off specilist nothing fancy like a water boy or anything.

there are better options that's why he didn't stick, if he couldn't stick last year when the secondary was a bigger question mark how would he cut the chase this go around?
