I know he is small, but wow....
I really like how patient he is, and he's got acceleration and nice hands, too. I'd definitely bring him in as a CFA, even with the size. I can see him being a guy who gets lost behind the blockers, and he sets up his runs really well, if he can just stay on the field.
That said, I'd have whiffed on LaMichael James as a pro, too. I thought he'd be an impact player at this level when the 9ers took him in the 2nd.
That's right. Good luck finding the dislike button.
I like this kid. Would be an interesting pick. As a RB, I'm hesitant because of questions about pass-blocking ability. We already have Lance Dunbar. We need another full-size back at RB. Randle backing up DeMarco is another post(I'm a little skeptical). BUT I would love Thomas as a challenge/replacement for Cole Beasley. I like Beas for what he does, but his skill set is VERY limited. I'm wondering if De'Anthony Thomas offers the Boys everything Cole does plus another KR and a run/receiving threat out of the backfield with more speed and running ability. Insurance policy, in case Dunbar doesn't come back 100%. Possibly take 2 salaries off the books and replace with a rookie contract and more versatility. Curiosity piqued...
There is one man, and one man alone, in the NFL who figures to get the most out his talent.
Jason. Garrett.

5'7 and 175. Slight built instead of like a bowling ball. I see straight line speed and not enough JUKE or QUICKNESS.
7th round pick or FA to me. JMO.
His quickness is his most impressive asset. his acceleration is off the charts, what are you watching?
I watch Pac 12. He hasn't done much. I see straight line not lateral quickness make you miss moves in traffic. Much of his damage is out running opponents in open space. JMO.
Just don't want him to land in Philly.
