His unofficial time was 4.37.

A similar sized player, Dri Archer, ran a 4.26.

I hope not on this kid. He's an entitled knucklehead that bought his own hype. Not saying I wouldn't support him if we drafted him, but I truly hope we don't.

He's talented, but he has mental lapses now and then and chokes in big moments.

It really doesn't take much at all to throw a forty time off a tenth of a second. Those who have run track before know this all too well. Placing too much emphasis on forty times can be extremely deceiving when it comes to football capabilities. Thomas may easily run a 4.4 today, tomorrow or any other time. Take it with a grain of salt. Aside from that, how he runs the first 10 yards is far more important in terms of football running talent.

Thomas can play but I wouldn't touch him before the 3rd round...

I watched Dri Archer play live in 2012.

He ran for 222 yards on 12 carries against my alma mater and an 87 yard touchdown in which he really looked like a Golden Flash. I'd be happy with him or Thomas as kick/punt returners.
