Dear Mr. Jones:

Sitting here typing and still trying to spit out the bitter taste of defeat,I along a lot of fans would like to request the dismissal of the coaching staff.
I understand that this request may be labeled as radical and extreme, but as you already know, the situation dictates such move.
Mr. Jones,I witnessed yesterday the complete breakdown of a team under a "legendary" coach and heard the same old press conference banter as if it was already rehearsed. It was revolting.
Unacceptable.
I have seen "his groceries" get shredded by lesser talent. No pass rush, slow defensive front and non existant linebackers.
I have seen Michael Vick look like Dan Marino against a defensive unit that has cost you plenty of money.
Bob Kraft saw it coming.
Bob Kraft understood that he had to cut the cord.
He saw a coach with an obsolete blue print.Trying to build P-51s when everybody has moved on to stealth technology.
Still drafting size over speed to build you a slow defense.
Putting inadequate personnel on crucial positions(Oliver Hoyte,an undrafted LB playing FB because "he played the position at High School") and as expected, failing at it.
The list of infractions is just too long. You would have to order chinese food by the time I get done sorting out the damage.
Its not working and it won't get better anytime soon.
Cut your losses Jerry, showing the door to legendary coaches is not something you are unfamiliar with.

Here's what I'd do this offseason if I were Jerry:

Tell Parcells:

"Look, our offense has been playing pretty well for the most part. The weakness is our defense. You got all the groceries you wanted. You switched to a 3-4, and I approved, and you asked a 4-3 coach to stay as the defensive coordinator, which I approved. It is obviously not working. As owner, I have a say in this organization, and I feel that if we're gonna use a 3-4 defense, we need a coordinator with a 3-4 background. If not, I'll personally get a head coach and defensive coordinator that will run an innovative defense, regardless of it being a 4-3 or 3-4.

Here's your ultimatum Parcells: get a good defensive coordinator, or I'll get a good head coach..."

If Parcells refuses:

Scrap the whole coaching staff.

Here's what I'd do for the team during free agency:

1. Get a new RG (should help out our interior line, hopefully McQ is good enough to take over the LT spot)
2. Move Anthony Henry to FS, maybe put A. Glenn in the 2nd CB spot
3. Sign Adalius Thomas, or other good pass rushers
4. Do something with James
5. Replace Canty/Spears with Hatcher/Ratliff

Here's what I'd look for in the draft:

TRADE Julius Jones for a draft pick
cornerback, any good OL, defensive end, free safety (if we don't move henry), wide receiver, defensive tackle, running back

This is probably what we're gonna see at starter next year:

DEFENSE:

CB: Terence Newman
FS: Anthony Henry
SS: Roy Williams
CB: Aaron Glenn (or maybe a drafted corner)
OLB: Adalius Thomas
ILB: Bradie James (or whoever we can get to replace him)
ILB: Akin Ayodele
OLB: DeMarcus Ware
DE: Ratliff, Hatcher (or Spears, Canty, whichever two are better)
NT: Jason Ferguson

OFFENSE:

QB: Tony Romo
RB: Marion Barber III or a drafted running back
TE: Jason Witten
FB: Oliver Hoyte
WR: Terrell Owens
WR: Terry Glenn
LT: Flozell Adams
LG: Kyle Kosier
C: Andre Gurode
RG: Rivera's replacement
RT: Marc Colombo

That should help a bit.

I hear ya.

That high school of yours is one incredible football team.

Yeah.

I'm not a part of it though, but I know a lot of the kids on JV.
