There are 16 games in a season. You will watch many seasons throughout your lifetimes and, therefore, many games. As you do, please bear this in mind: Some games, our guys will win. Some games, they will lose. Each win does not signify that they are the best team in football and the most glorious institution ever established in the history of mankind, just as each loss does not signify that they are a hopeless bunch of yellow-bellied losers.

That is all.

excuse us for over reacting but we currently have a losing record in a division that could prolly be won with 8 wins? Weve some how managed to put ourselves in second place

You realize Romo had one of the greatest games of all time and we still lost? This team needs a lot of work. The defense sucks.

We play 16 games in a season and our guys win one week and lose the next therefore we end up 8-8 every year. An 8-8 season doesn't signify the Cowboys are a hopeless bunch of yellow-bellied losers it signifies they're an up and down mediocre team.

That is all.

Time for the moral victory and "effort" brigade.

He's right

I gave us no shot at winning, so right now I won't act like a hysterical child, who just got his candy stolen while walking in the park.

If you gave us no shot, don't come on here acting down and out, all disappointed, as if you already did not see the writings on the wall. You're just an actor.

Two ways to look at this loss:

1) The Cowboys lost by a meager 3 points to a team on pace to be the greatest offense in NFL history.

2) The loss was a continuation of the same .500 narrative we witnessed over the past three years: The Cowboys' pass defense is abysmal, and despite some statistically brilliant performances, Romo can't overcome it.

Both ways have their points.

Exactly. To me its trolling and trying to get a rile out of guys here. I didn't think we would win so why on earth would I get upset? If I didn't think we were good enough to beat them and they actually went out there and competed with them? Call it moral victory if you want but I left this game more impressed by the Cowboys than I was before the game.
