Are you watching the Lions and Eagles game?

Care to guess what the Farmer's Almanac predicts for Super Bowl Sunday?

If Santa can deliver in a storm then the SB will be fine no matter what the conditions are.

I hope the weather is as bad or worse for the Sb. For one reason, I love snow football, and also it would teach the NFL the stupidity of scheduling an outdoor game in a northern city for the SB.

My fear is that Mara's contract with Satan includes a clause guaranteeing clear skies, 50 degrees and no wind at kickoff on 02/02/2014. Unfortunately, that would not shock me at all.

The VIPs are going to be in heated luxury boxes. Unfortunately, it's going to take a blizzard the magnitude of todays Philly and Detroit game that makes viewing almost impossible and bad calls abundant to get the NFL to see this was an incredibly bad idea.

Be funny if they had to cancel it for weather.
Unless Dallas is in it...then a sunny warm winter day will be fine.

definitely unfair to whatever teams make it

The two best teams deserve the best conditions possible to crown a champion. I don't like when it's in Miami either, it always rains.

That touch-football loving, kickoff-hating, Cowboys-fining, Super-Bowl-ruining owner and his puppet commissioner.

I hope mother nature releases all of its fury consisting of snow and ice! I cannot believe they awarded the Superbowl to a team in the Northeast, SMH!

I said the same thing on FB this morning as soon as coverage of the game began. What a genius idea to have the game outdoors in the NE during February. STUPID is as STUPID DOES!!!

I love watching football in snow so I'm all for it. The NFL used to have championships played in frigid weather before the SB years and the league survived just fine.

Other than the Cowboys playing in it, there's nothing that I'd rather see when it comes to the super bowl.

I hope it snows a foot.

That and paying $3K for an upper deck seat in the freezing cold and the weather sucks to do anything before the Super Bowl.

Where I think people are going to dislike the idea is that the viewing public at home will see football where the players cannot showcase their actual skills. Between this and his insistence of moving the Jaguars to London...sooner or later people will realize that Goodell will go down as the worst commissioner in the history of the game and one of the worst commissioners in professional sports history.

True fans will, but the average, casual fan, won't know any different.
