Dear Santa, I want a playoff win for Wade Phillips

No question -- even among the Wade Phillips critics, me included -- that he is a decent and noble man. And he has worked hard to make our defense a solid, perhaps fearsome machine.

I wish for him to have the glow of a playoff win this year, Santa. And that would be a gift that would extend to the rest of us, cause we all want the same thing, aside from sex.

What do you wish for Wade?
For other players?
For Jerra?

Pls. keep this in the spirit of Christmas, which in its core is a celebration about good cheer, buying lots of stuff and getting drunk.

Let me add one more: I would like more appreciation for Keith Brooking who proved me wrong (big time!) and has become the piston (if not the leader) of our defense. (thanks for that too, Wade, you chubby rascal).

I must go now because me eyes are getting misty with all this uncharacteristic mood of benevolence.

I've been a Wade supporter since day 1.

I love his LOVE for this team. I guess it was just a breath of fresh air after the mercenary. But I love having a coach that loves the team he's coaching, and that he's successful while doing it.
