yea but it SURE WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE A GUY THAT CAN PLAY

I see only one name of a half way decent player at DT - T Crawford

now many Tackles from this group this year ? Crawford, Okoye, McClain, Brent ,Bishop & Coleman

i like it.Malcom brown and zuwa will improve our dline 10 fold.
brown will be our no1 at 1 tech but gives us a really great 1-2 punch with josh brent.
zuwa will thrive under marinnelli.
Im not to keen on darby tho,id rather take peters if he fell there or carter from stanford

If we go DT, i would hope it's a 3 Tech. Someone who can start out as a backup to Crawford and perhaps play alongside Crawford in the nickel.

I think Brent next year can be a decent starting 1. Of the others, i only like T.McClain. As a solid backup. It looks like Melton will go elsewhere. Maybe Bishop and/or Coleman develop into adequate backups.

But my preference is a 3 to help the pass rush if we go DT. Ideally we get lucky and there is a pass rushing DE available when we pick.

I dont see anything on film that implies either of those players will be better than anything we have, Unless a DT has Suh or Aaron Donald type production I am fine with what we have.

Me and you are on the same page That dude has a fantastic motor and can off blocks really well in the run game. He's is definitely one of my favorite players early on.

I don't know why this post made me laugh so hard.

Maybe it's the fact that you said "film", when it's completely obvious you never watched anything at all.

I'm also really curious where this film of Okoye is, did you watch the ER film of his medical induced coma? I bet he didn't get off many blocks there. I'm sure the "film" on Coleman and Bishop's preseason was very telling as well.

Brown is better than every Tackle on the roster except for Crawford. Other than Crawford we have a guy who's coming of a horrific life threatening injury where he was bedridden for months and fed through a tube, a backup who's been average in every aspect (McClain), and two first year guys who have some potential but need significant development and in no way can be guaranteed to contribute in Year 2.

Right now we have Crawford and Brent. McClain as insurance. That's not good. I like Coleman but in Year 2 I think he'd be better served as the 4th DT. Keep Bishop on the PS.

DE is priority #1, but DT is definitely a need. Brown would a great addition but it depends on what the opportunity cost turns out to be. If it's between him and a pass rusher, it's a no brainer you take the pass rusher. But if he falls to our pick in Round 2, I'd love to have him.

depends on who the pass rusher is.what if its vic beasley or marcus golden?
then you take brown
and go end in the 2nd or 3rd like the guy from ucla or eli harold

We will not go 1 tech DT in the 1st. Marinelli and the Jones's have all said it countless times.

I don't mind going brown in the 2nd but not in the 1st. I think we go FA and sign Paea and maybe draft one in the 3rd or 4th. I think right now our first 2 picks have to be DE and CB.

Why would you want Eli harold. Dallas needs a day 1 starting DE. Not a tweener DE they have to develop. Harold is a 34 OLB. O don't see him as a every down 43 DE.
I also do not like Golden. To me Gokden is a 3rd rounder. He's worse than Ealy who was a wind rounder.

he does pretty well playing with his hand on the ground n college but it will depend on what he weighs in at the combine, they say he is 250 but some sites list him as 235.
To me he plays well.has good burst, gets of his blocks and reminds me of ware.Stands out more to me that alot of the fan favourite guys that are suppossed to be going higher

No way he is 250. Looks skinny. Don't think he can start day one on the string side of a 43. He plays more standing up. Plays with more quickness than he does pass rush moves. If he can run by you he is pretty much done.

He's a project

Why do some many do mocks right now. There is alot of time between now and the draft. Players are going to shift around alot.

I hate mocks right now. I say let's wait till March atleast.

I do like to talk about players and rather I think they will fit and where I think they will go based on how they play.
