We cannot wait until the 4th round to pick a CB.

We need to get an immediate starter and this is apparently a deep CB draft. We should pick one if the first two rounds. We probably should pick two in the first four rounds.

maybe 4... if they can find them...think about it we may have 2 CB's on this team that can play in the NFL (Jenkins and Scandrick) the others can not play well enough to be considered NFL caliber that leaves 3 openings if not 4...we need 2 OLB's and at least 1 DL if not 2 and we could use safety help but it is real hard to judge the safeties fairly because of the bad corner play...

they could easily spend the whole draft on Defense and if they hit on every pick still not have done enough to cover all the holes...

than we get to fixing the oline which may or may not be underway depending on the success of the offseason program of the young ones from last year.

well I am expecting one in FA

I thought about doubling up at CB - and we are picking up that FS that can play at CB - I know hardly any one has see this kid play or noticed him

FS Tramaine Thomas, Arkansas: The talented defensive backfields at Alabama and LSU may have taken some of the limelight away from Thomas, who entered this season a reigning Second Team All-SEC pick. Despite being even more productive this year than last, as well as showing an ability to step up his level of play in big games (see LSU, Auburn), many outside of the Southeastern Conference don't know Thomas. The 6-0, 204 Thomas is athletic, instinctive and a proven playmaker. One might be surprised to know that Thomas is tied with Alabama's Mark Barron as the SEC senior with the most career interceptions (12). Thomas also has forced six fumbles over his career.

12/07/2011 – 2011 ASSOCIATED PRESS ALL-SEC FOOTBALL HONORABLE MENTION: Tramain Thomas, S, Arkansas, 6-0, 204, Sr., has been selected All-SEC Conference Honorable Mention for the 2011 college football season as voted on by The Associated Press. Thomas has five interceptions during the 2011 season, which is tied for third in the SEC and 10th nationally. Thomas had a pair of interceptions in the Razorbacks’ 38-14 win against Auburn on Oct. 8. Thomas has also made 87 tackles on the season, which is second on the team. For his career, Thomas has intercepted 12 passes, which is tied for third on UA’s all-time career interceptions list. – Arkansas football

ok so how you going to fix the D with out ant D linemen

and we need I think OG or C

please so me so I can get it right

1 Melvin Ingram, OLB, South Carolina – Perry USC

2 Kelechi Osemele, OT/G, Iowa State 6-5 #347 or
Kevin Zeitler, G, Wisconsin

or DE/DT Wolfe

but who would you rather have a guy that can rush the passer or a guy that can cover some one for like 5 seconds

So who you go after OLB - or a CB - or an OG

plus that leaves out a C and D line

plus I think the better CB's are in the later rounds IMO

I say go after a pass rusher – get OLB Ingram or Perry

in the second I like

Chase Minnifield, CB, Virginia
Jayron Hosley*, CB/PR, Virginia Tech - is he coming out
Casey Hayward, CB, Vanderbilt - I do love this kid

third

Leonard Johnson, CB, Iowa State

Johnson had 67 tackles with six passes broken up, one interception and one forced fumble this season. He was having a quiet season but came up with a big game in Iowa State's upset win over Oklahoma

Jamell Fleming, CB, Oklahoma

Overall, Fleming has had a quality season and improved his draft stock. He has 35 tackles with six passes defensed, one interception, two forced fumbles and fumble returned 56 yards for a score. He has been solid in pass coverage throughout the season

I think if you protect Romo and rush the passer well, you can get away with a mediocre secondary.

1 Melvin Ingram, OLB, – Perry USC
2 Derek Wolfe, DE/DT, Cincinnati – OG Zeitler or Osemele- CB Minnefield
3 Don Barclay, OG/OT, West Vir – Winn DE
4 Jamell Fleming, CB, Oklahoma or Hayward
5 Mike Martin, DT, Michigan – Delvin Johnson, DT/NT, Marshall

you pick Eskimo ?

i go with your initial picks as long as:

1) we pick a starting OG in FA (nicks or grubbs)
2) we think we already have our center on the team i.e. kowaliski or costa

if not, then Rd 2 has to be center

the rest looks good

definitely SOLB in Rd 1
