Ware has 3 sacks (nearly 2 more btw), 5 tackles.

Anyone who thinks that a healthy D.Ware cannot play DE in the 4-3 is plain ignorant.

He will be a phenomenal DE, a la Charles Haley.

Ware is about 15lbs heavier and 5 years more experienced. This is not a washed up football player who has lost a step. He was injured. And still managed double digit sacks.

My point is in one start at 4-3 DE with a limited playbook and lesser talent around him, he dominated. There is no reason to think he cannot play DE in Kiffin's system.

A DE has two responsibilities in a 4 - 3, outside containment on the run and getting to the QB on pass plays. Ware is very good at both of these things. He will be a beast in a 4 - 3.

I believe Ware would be just fine as a defensive end. It is true that he did get beat up a little, so the question would be if he can come back at 100 percent from that shoulder surgery.

Ware's the man! I can't believe how many people were complaining about him this year, playing with one arm and other injuries. He'll be the same warrior he's always been. :starspin
