Decent metrics on Blue

Yeah I don't think many people have concerns over his ability to run. If he can clean up the fumbles and show he can be at least an average blocker the guy is going to be a regular pro bowl caliber player.
I think on his rookie contract he is definitely a plus

Pollard couldn’t block either early on but he got better he just was always compared to zeke in terms of blocking

If Blue turns out to be a blocking liability then churn the roster. I think the fumbling issues was largely early on and I thought he improved over course of the year

Run 2 back sets on 3rd or passing downs let Blue go out for pass keep purple or Mafah or even Williams in to block.

We need to stop thinking so old school. In today's NFL players have specialties or roles.

Blue on a screen or Wheel route is his role in those situations let a Te, FB or another RB play protector role.

He's comparing nfl players stats to a set of college stats - i hope blue does well of course but let's let him get into the nfl before we crown him
Nope....we have to do All Pro comps to him, tout preseason success against other rookies and of course come up with super-human nicknames.

This guy is actually comparing JB's college runs against runners against NFL comp? This would have been cool if he had college stat comparisons. Nice use of MS paint for his graphics though.

Good point, too bad the "realists" don't wait til rookies get into the NFL before they say he's a bust. If our FO drafted him, he must suck. Please share your thoughts....lol

Yeah, its a tough one - he had some big flashes with Texas, he has blazing speed, had a knock for fumbles, was a lower drafted player due to how he was percieved by the teams - some good, some meh. We all want our own to be incredible and superstars, thats the nature of fans right?

I personally think they are going to go with the FA's they picked up and use him this year as a COP back, i think he will develop this year and get his real shot to break out in 2026 personally, but thats just my opinion.

He already possesses great read and break away skill sets. Top end speed provides NFL ready skills and will find the holes.

Yes Sir, give this fan some Blue. I'm a happy camper without any doubts.
CC if he can show hands early, we can start calling him Super Blue.
Super Blue like super glue, desperately need some hands coming out of the backfield on this roster.

Detroit has gave Dallas the blueprint on how to use this guy.

Just follow it.

Don’t screw it up like Jason Garrett would.

He is already committed to working his special skills. That gives a pair in the backfield with real talents. Ignore them linebackers.

The Dallas Cowboys have a proud tradition of dominant running backs, but only two rookies in franchise history have rushed for over 1,000 yards:

Ezekiel Elliott (2016) and Tony Dorsett (1977).

(Missing is Emmitt Smith.)
