Deion Barnes surprises me as a PSU fan. Not talked about much here yet so definitely a guy everyone should put on their watch list

well as a penn state fan you must be glad zettel is staying in school
as a cowboys fan u must be pissed that zettel is staying in school

Can anyone gave the opinion on the general strength of the draft
and the position strengths. I dont take the draft pubs but I am into it.

Anyone else concerned there's a TE named Jesse James in this draft? That sounds like it might be too difficult for the Cowboys to pass up.

You wouldn't be that upset if you saw that 6'7 260 lb freak athlete was catching passes with a star on his helmet. I'm by no means saying we should draft any TE's, but James is a freak.

I am also a Penn State fan. Deion is from a rough part of North Philly. He has already graduated and is using this opportunity as a chance to get his family out of a bad neighborhood.

He certainly could have used an additional year of development and will most likely be a late round pick where depending on the situation could struggle to make a roster. But even getting paid for a year on a practice squad will make a world of difference for he and his family.

I think he's going to go somewhere between the 4th and 6th round depending on his combine/pro day #'s. He's going to be a project in the NFL for sure, but I don't think he will have that much of a problem sticking with a team. There have been for less talented pass rushers who have been given plenty of shots in the NFL. I honestly don't think his tools (size, athleticism, strength) are that far off from D Law, he just needs a lot of work with pass rushing technique.

Good call. Don't think we need a TE, but I'm a big Jesse James fan.

Malcom Brown (DT, Texas) declared today as well.
