» Auburn DE Dee Ford: Ford has been one of the stars of the week, according to several scouts I spoke with on the practice field. Evaluators have been impressed with his first-step quickness and burst in pass-rush drills. Additionally, Ford has shown the ability to turn speed into power off the edge and dominated offensive tackles with his overall athleticism.

» Pittsburgh DT Aaron Donald: Donald is dispelling the notion that his substandard physical dimensions (6-0, 285) will be an issue at the next level. Donald has routinely blown by interior blockers with his first-step quickness, agility and explosiveness. He has complemented his athletic attributes with impressive hand skills at the point of attack. Donald's quick arm-over is one of the best moves I've seen executed by a pass rusher this seaso

Being an Auburn fan, I really like Ford. The only problem is that I don't think he will work as a 4-3 end in the pros. He's a bit small for that (6-2 230ish)

Aaron Donald please...

I honestly think there is a good shot we end up with him. They're talking to him at the Senior bowl, which they usually do to guys we draft, and he has the intangibles and character that the team looks for in draftees. Much more important that that though, is that he is precisely what they're looking for in a 3-tech and we have a crying need at both DT spots. Plus, while his production and talent say he will go before we can get him, his lack of size will limit his draft stock with any team that isn't playing a penetrating 4-3 defense.

If he goes through the pre-draft process (senior bowl, combine, pro day) as well as I think he will, then I don't think Dallas would mind taking him with their first pick.

Of course we don't know what going to happen... but at this point, I'd say there is a definite chance he comes to Dallas.

Ford isnt going to be a day 1 or 2 pick. So Im sure they are looking at him as depth for now and develop

I don't know too much about the differences between our 4-3 and Denver's, but I really like how Denver uses their SLB as their top pass rusher.
