When you go out there down after down against a physical team like the 9ers and give it your all and finaly get off the field just to see your offense go 3 and out time and time again, you get demoralized.

yeah and again that doesnt mean the payed defensive players get to not show up. the niners took the opening drive to the house with little resistance, hate Dak all you want I dont care he sucked last sunday night... getting your doors blown off by allowing 42 points in a game is bad defense no matter how you slice it.. period, end of story no goalpost moving neede the D got destroyed and Dak didnt play 1 down on defense...

People kept thinking we were close to SF based on the last 2 playoff games. It always felt to me that SF was doing just enough on offense, knowing we could not score on them. Sunday night proved they are in a different stratosphere. If they play again with the same rosters it will be just as ugly. I feel bad for Micah. He is a stud, but he will be stacked on the pile of HOF careers, next to Ware and Witten that were squandered by a tool-bag owner that will never get out of the way. He'll have to go elsewhere to ever win.

We have seen the defense play well against this team. TWICE. We have yet to see the offense play well, and that falls on the shoulders of the quarterback
