All this talk from you guys is about personality and stuff off the field.

We’ve seen it with tank and Jaylon and Michael and Harvey and Hollywood.

Off the field, you want these guys to “know their place”.

I’m sure the same folks straight up loved bill bates, witten, Randy and, god help us Jeff Heath.

If you were Ranger fans, Rusty Greer would be in the hall of fame.

Micah is our best player. If you disagree with that, go on the record.

If you are laying the problems of this team on our best player, then you’ve got issues.

The entire league from owners to GMs to fan bases, would love to have Micah but here we are.

Complaining because he’s not saying “aww shucks”

Been in DFW my entire life and it never ceases to amaze me how many of our “fans” have this blind spot (best case).

Going to try to avoid defending Parsons because he doesn’t need it. The other stuff is on you guys.
I want them to find their place on the field as the best in the league.

problem is they fail at that and then they act stupid by saying its still true.

they need to get better if they want respect. apparently a LOT better.

back in the day Emmitt did not make a big thing about scoring a TD, he normally did not spike the ball, or make scene, he did not do anything but run to the sideline and get off the field because he believed in letting his play speak for him. and his play spoke well.

he stated once that it was because a coach or somebody told him to "Act like he had been there before" I believe. If you want to be the best then you have to BE the best.

But Michael did. And we love him. At least most of us do, especially in hindsight.

And Emmit did make a big deal of collecting every single TD ball to add to his personal shrine of badassness. He had his own ego and pride, have no doubt.

Micah has proven himself in this first two years to possibly be the best player this team has had in years, but people get wrapped up in their feelings and put their own personal “this is what it means to be a champion” attitudes, most of which are decades out of date with the modern world.

micah has earned the right to talke because he puts in the work and wants to be great. So what he has a podcast would you rather him go out to clubs and stuff like that? From everything I’ve see. Off the field he’s a humble guy.

As far as the 49ers. First off the playoff game last year he played well. So to say the 49ers dominated him is dumb. This year? He was being doubled every play… maybe just maybe the d coordinator can adjust to that.

How many drives did we keep alive for them with penalties. We had a safety line up offsides. You can’t look down the line when you set. Dumb penalties.

First play was a penalty for the D, how often does that even happens in a game. The refs have not even loosen up to start throwing flags that early in the game.

Never seen him dominate a game or take over, I have seen him get taken out of plays because he thinks every play is a pass play
He's probably being told to play it that way. But I agree that he should also play LB and not just DL.

Cowboys fans turning on Micah, now.
So fickle.
:muttley:
Yup. I know how disheartening that beatdown was, it was for me too, just like everyone else. But taking it out on Parsons isn't exactly fair.
Not only does SF have a very good football team, but our defense was playing the way they were coached. Parsons plays most of the time up on the line because that's the way the DC wants it. If it doesn't work well against a particular team, why jump his case for it when he was just doing what the DC told him to do?
Yes I know Micah likes to talk a good game, but he usually plays a good game to go with it. He doesn't get lazy and dog it out there, he plays hard! The DC could've and should've made some adjustments, but if he did, they weren't the right ones.
Sorry but I don't think Parsons deserves the beatdown he's taking in this thread. He plays as hard or harder than anybody else on this team.
If the DC had done a better job, and if the offense had given the defense a break once in a while instead of all that 3 & out crap, maybe the defense could've had a better night. But if "If's and Buts" were candy and nuts, we all would've had a Merry Christmas in October.

He is correct, they could name there score because if the other team is a constant 3 and out, they could run the score up and blow up the score board ( for those that use to watch the Harlan Globetrotters cartoons from the early 70’s).
LOL Yeah I used to watch the actual Harlem Globetrotters, not the cartoons. Man they were a riot, really fun to watch!

What are you talking about?

They literally made the “Emmitt Smith” rule because he would take off his helmet to celebrate his TDs.

Barry Sanders was the guy that’d flip the ball to the refs.

Cowboys have exactly one dude ever who has been DPOY and it’s been 45 years.

Is that the bar to not be crapped on by Zone posters?
Micah feeling all the praise he’s been given. It’s not really debatable that what he said after the loss was immature, oblivious, and arrogant. They got dominated…smashed in all areas top to bottom…. and he’s talking “we got something for them” and “we are on their level”….dude delusional, feeling himself too much.

What does “it was already personal” mean?
It means SF hates Dallas so to them it was already personal and they showed us what that looks like. Basically, we just kicked your *** over your shoulders and now you wanna talk hard...shut up.

Parsons is all talk and no action in these games. Keep firing off with these comments but completely disappearing on the field. Corny. You got beat 42-10. Just keep quiet and move on.
Jesse Holley laid it out for everyone on Micah in this game. Lot of bark inside the fence, gate opened up and tail was waggin'. Fence closed and the barkin' started again.
