If the question is Deebo in general, I think he can still help a team even though he clearly is no longer anywhere close to what he was. If the question is about Deebo in Dallas, no. We have positions of need. WR is about as close to a strength as we can get. That is not the place I'm looking to bring in a player who will only be happy if he is getting a significant number of snaps and neither is it the place I'm looking to spend my cap dollars. Lastly, even if you are one of the people thinking we will or should move on from Pickens after the year (I am not) and need to bring in a WR, Deebo doesn't help us there either as a year from now he is just a year older and slower. This one is a hard pass.

The simple fact Deebo Samuel remains unsigned with training camps starting in a few days is very telling. Maybe a little introspection on his part would be helpful.

He made $17.5 million last year. At only 10 yards a reception (TE territory) for 700 yards 5TD. He needs to lower his demands.

I'd be leery about paying him much, but he's fearless and tough as balls. Could be perfect for some team at the right price.

Deebo was a lot better than some of you are giving him credit for. So he wasn't the most polished outside WR... he was still one of the toughest, hardest playing, most physical receivers I've ever seen. Can't very often say a WR plays angry, but he did.

One of my favorite players to watch even though he played for a hated rival.

He's a gadget manufactured by Shanahan's system and playcalling......there is a reason why one NFL player called him an RB playing WR.

He has little or no value outside of Shanahan's system
