Deebo Samuel traded to Washington

People in general are sheep and group think rules

Take the star away. The attention away. The entitlement away.

And look at what JJ has done since 2003, and it's actually GOOD.
Jerruh loves fans like this.

Content with mediocrity, wins in September and October, and loves garbage time stats.

Deebo is kind of a bad guy (don't know hum OFF the field). I'm glad we didn't go after him....he'd be the worst kind of player for us to add.

Deebo is a declining player. Wash has tons of cap space, but to give 18 mil or so for this guy for 1 season, I'd rather use that money elsewhere. I have a feeling this won't work out the way they want it to

Their kicker better jot miss any kicks.

Who cares, we got Trey Lance and Jonathan Mingo for a couple of 4ths!

So put that in your pipe and smoke it!
AND...
Got a 5th for Amari Cooper.
So who's the Master GM trader now, huh?

Jerry is soooo far out in front of the rest of the league.
Sheesh.
Shrugs.

How nice would it have been to trade one of our three 5th rounders today for Deebo?

Would have made up for the Mingo trade.

Deebo's in a contract year. He's going to play his rear end off this year. It could have been here.
Why would any WR want to be here during a contract year.

Bottom line is the Commanders got a proven playmaking WR for a 5th round pick who doesn’t have to be the focal point of the offense and gives Jaylon a complement to McLaurin.
The Cowboys gave up a 4th for Mingo who was a non-starter for Carolina and nothing during the 2024 season and I don’t anticipate that he will out perform Samuel in 2025.
Seems like a nice trade for the Commanders who aren’t resting on their laurels after making the playoffs.

If the Cowboys go sign Chris Godwin for $20M per year does that change things? I mean you have to factor the money into these things as well.

I love to bash how dumb the Jones boys are as much as anyone, but this seems like an odd road to go down as the two trades are not comparable at all.

You wouldn't know facts if it hit you on the backside
  • Dallas is the only team in the NFC who hasn't got past the divisional round of the playoffs.
  • Dallas hasn't played in an NFC championship game in 29 years, a franchise record
Which of these facts are you disputing? Have you bought your season tickets yet?

Now do his record, division titles, playoff appearances, all pros drafted, pro bowlers drafted, ROY drafted. Tell the whole story.
Sure, I will take out the Jimmy Johnson years since he was the football mind then and calling the shots. We all know what Jerry has been since the Jimmy era.

You guys, it’s almost as if the entire league is dedicated to making the Cowboys under the Jones family irrelevant.

It wouldn’t have anything to do with Jerry suing the league while conspiring to have the current Commissioner ousted, would it?
