Any idea how and when he got hurt?No one thinks about the long snapper until you don't have a good one. Hopefully, they'll find a decent replacement.

So we just added another pro bowler to our practice squad.
This front office, man. Furley sniffs all around.
It’s really hard to perfect and totally different than a shotgun snapI know a lot can go wrong with long snaps but it was always puzzling to me why a center couldn't profect it and save a roster spot.
I’d love the jobIs long snapping really so niche/difficult that it requires a roster spot just to perform that one function? Nice gig, if you can get it.
No one can lineup over the deep snapperYou say that until you have a DT breathing on you. Yikes!

Guess soHe must have done it working out...
He retiredDidn't some other team sign LP after we released him? Or am I dreaming that?
Well, tell him to pull a Brady and "unretire".He retired

Never mind the Super Bowl..... who's gonna long snap Gene Jones' art work to the guys up on the ladders ?I hope this doesn't mess up our Super Bowl run.
We already tried involving our QB in the kicking game......wasn't pretty as I recall.Rush is your QB and Prescott your longsnapper going forward.
There are still nerves involved, right?Long snappers are protected. You can't rush directly over them.
I am fantasying it as hard as I can, and my bank account is the same.Imagine getting paid $500k a year to push a ball between your legs a few times a week for 4 months a year.
