Ok Roy is only one player he needs help back there from guys like Henry, Watkins and Davis. Give the guy a break Im sick of everyone blaming him for all the issues in the secondary.

ayodele has been playing well especially considering he is learning a new postition on a new defense. Henry has the burden of T new oppisite him he can't possible equal newman so its easy to throw him under the bus. Pretty sure at the mid point of the season every one was praising james as the leader on defense, the james gang threads come to mind. Our team tanked lately, I am not gonna hate on any one player.

it bothers me more this year,because I think this team is much better than last years. I really think the defensive coaching isn't doing their jobs. Its frustrating but I hold on to the hope that the playoffs will be enough to motivate some of these twerps.

Can't put it ALL on coaching.

The ball carrier runs by you and you can't tackle him OR hold onto him so others make the tackle; is that coaches fault?


A tightend pushes you BACKWARDS off the line of scrimmage...is that the coaches fault?

bill and jerry might have a different opinion of james since they just extended his contract and i don't remember anyone complaining about it.you don't get re-do's in the nfl
roy is a strong safety and is not that great atchasing wr's down the field. they key is not having him chase them down the field, get a real free safety
henry is playing with a bad knee and still leading the league in pass def.,when you are thrown at as much as he is your gonna get beat some
spears, along with canty are not getting it done
akin is playing pretty well. watch the games
al was never suppose to be a starter but we lost our starter. kinda hard to rate a backup with the best at the position.
comparing guys to the best at their position is a little hard being as they are on different teams. your never gonna have a top 3 at every position, and i don't think you have to have them.
the whole defense would be better with a better pass rush but there is'nt much you can do about that at this point.we need another pass rusher opposite ware and thats one of those things you have trouble doing even in the off season and you have no chance of doing at this point in the season. hows that?

Henry made a good play on Monday, and he does have a messed up knee, so that might be why his play has fallen off.

Spears, Canty, James, they're really sucking right now.

Roy apparently has a shoulder problem. If his shoulder isn't injured, idk what's wrong with him. He needs to lose weight, that'd help him get better in coverage.

Ayodele has been playing well.

Add Zimmer to that list, along with Canty.

No way to defend their play in this past game. Roy clearly was not making any impact on run defense. The LB in general are missing their assignments, I know many love to slam Zimmer but I can promise you there is no defensive play that allows the TE to run down field scott free the LB are reacting late to what they are seeing and by the time they do pick it up their man has them beat. As for Henry I felt he showed improvement on this game compared to how he has been playing of late. He had a very nice knock down of a pass and an Int in the game. I would also add the play of the OL in general; they played a poor game and were being pushed around most of the game. Romo was able to get out of trouble for the most part but you can't expect consistency when plays are constantly breaking down because of the OL.

I think Akin has played pretty good as well. I think Fergi should have received some run for the Pro Bowl.
