in my opinion doing anything else other than having Mo play tight bump and run with Wilcox playing every down with the intention of laying green out would be a failure. A deep safety should be watching green every play unless the quarterback has handed the ball off. Taking Green out would be huge and if we can successfully do that, our secondary has taken the next step.

IMO defending Eifert might be more important if he plays.

Need to double and triple team AJ. Make others beat us.

Uh.....no. Give him attention in the red zone, but outside that not so much. He'll be hurt by the end of the first quarter anyways.

Did you guys see what the Vikes did to the Giants outside receivers? Yes, I realize we don't have their D but I liked the way a defender at the line would disguise then run out to shade underneath an outside receiver. We cannot have an episode like Julio last year.

Our secondary is playing at an all time high, at least for this group,, and AJ will get his regardless what we try and do unless getting DLaw back his first week of action is off the hook.
Just let MC shadow him all game and keep doing what we have been doing on offense for the last four weeks, and we can beat the Bengals.
You cant triple cover anyone in this league,, you will get eaten alive. You can only start 11.

Don't believe the DBs will travel. Hope that when he lines up near Carr he can jam him up or Lawrence gives a boost and DL has Dalton under pressure. Otherwise, uh oh.

We just need to double AJ Green most of the time. And limit Cincy's possessions.

Mo is Dallas's best shot to compete with AJ Green. Unfortunately, Dallas CBs don't travel and the Bengals move AJ Green all over place. That mean's we will see a good number of snaps of Green vs Carr, and that's scary.

Having said all that, while AJ Green is probably the best WR Dallas will face so far, they have faced other elite WRs. OBJ and Jeffrey are definitely elite WRs and Dallas secondary held their own against them. Another thing to consider is Dalton is a lot like Stafford when he had Megatron, in that he will throw it to Green no matter what. That's something Manning and Hoyer didn't do with OBJ and Jeffrey. That's what concerns me. This game will be won/loss on how big of a day AJ Green has.

The secondary is getting some turnovers but I feel two things are a result of that.

Poor QB play from the opposing teams and Dallas' running game is keeping their defense off the field (which is keeping them fresh).

I cant imagine he'll be too much of a factor. He's only played 1 NFL game since last September.

I'd do my best to double AJ all day hopefully take him away from Dalton. Cant allow him to go off for 150 or some crazy #.

Agreed. I think Jones is up to the challenge of singling him up and limiting the damage they do there. It will also be key to see if our Dline wins at point of attack so we can effectively limit the run with 7 in the box. That way we can have a better shot at slowing down Green with bracket coverage. I would also like to see if Rod can do a better job of disguising blitzes. That one time we were burned on the Niners' first TD we telegraphed that blitz like an attacker demonstrating a punch in a self defense class. Smh.

I would double the hell out of AJ and tell Mo to follow him all game. They're running game isn't scary at all especially with their best running back not being the starter.
