Defending Ebron

Fading Byron last week, and having him man up on Ertz was a good strategy.
Do we do the same today?

Take out Ebron, Hilton shouldn’t be 100%. Just hope Awuzie is ready to ball

That's what Ive been rolling over in my mind all week.
I firmly believe in that repeat strategy today.

If I’m not mistaken, it was the same thing against the Texans.

Ive come to my own personnel conclusion that Hiltons rest is just purely precautionary, of course nobody will know until kick off, just my own evaluation.
I would come with a game plan of focusing on Ebron, but if Hilton burns us early than role the coverage his direction, if not stay with shutting down Ebron.
Ebron opens up Hilton, and vice versa.
This Cowboys D has the ability to do both however.

They said Luck was not sacked in 5 games and was not touched it two of them, over these last 7 games.
They also said, stop the run, make him pass. They are 0-4 when Luck throws it over 50 times a game. 7-2 when he throws less than 50 passes.

Need to get to him and get that pressure. Plus play the ball control keep away game too. Keep him off the field. But that goes without saying.

They had Doyle, but he's now out for the season.

All true,, shutting down Ebron takes away his first look,, another second and he is looking for Hilton down the sideline.
That's why I think we employ our same strategy as last week,, shut down, control Ebron, and we can get to Luck with our pass rush... make him look and stand that extra brief moment.
