Defending the screen

Barring a few occassions when Lee (usually) makes a great play to knife through blockers and make a play, I usually cringe when I see the other team run a screen. That was not the case yesterday. I was very impressed with the guys on the line and the way they read and reacted to the screen's that Philly ran. Several times I saw all 4 rushmen stop their up field rush almost immediately (and heard it called out a few times too) and pull back to play the screen. The coaches had the defense prepared yesterday, and it was great to see. Hopefully it continues, and the D continues to improve as they get more comfortable.

We'll Reggie Bush is going to be some test for our lb'ers. Could we even put Oscan on him occasionally ?

I've noticed this the whole season. Once the line recognizes screen, they do a good job of peeling back and flowing to the ball.
