Defense was not significantly better than last week. Other than the opening 3 and out, and the Barham forced fumble, they were a sieve. Washington made multiple unforced errors, and had a TD taken away. They could have easily scored 40. Having to force a fumble or wait for the other team to make a catastrophic mistake is not a defensive strategy.

I really had no problem letting Lawrence go. IT was a reasonable decision.

It's hard to say that when he's such an effective run defender.

The defense was lucky today. A few breaks but this is the kind of game we can win now. Dak feasts on the bad teams especially those within the division. He played really well tonight.

The defense was more aggressive in the 2nd half. A less mobile QB would have been in trouble. Maybe they can improve a little each week and eventually be decent. They still were gashed in the running game and there were some wide open receivers again.

I don’t particularly like the defensive scheme. Feels like read and react, bend don’t break type of scheme. I prefer an attacking style where you dictate to the opposing offense.

Dak played well, the oline protected him well, and Ceedee and Fergi made plays.

They were forced to throw the ball to catch up. Making a team one dimensional helps the defense.

They are far from good. But holding them early and the offense clicking helped out a lot.

It was pressure that got Daniels injured. And those trick plays and 60 yard bombs are low percentage plays for any team. Great when they work but there's a reason teams don't use them a lot.

Durant leaving is concerning although I must say Revel was more than adequate as a fill in good for him . And Bell replacing Hooker didn’t look promising , I would like them to give Alijah Clark a try at safety with Thompson .
