What is your early evaluation of the Defense? I know, I know it’s preseason game 1. The first string was limited.
For all the hype I think D-Law is gonna repeat his last years performance.
Taco is going to be improved big time. He was chasing the qb everytime I looked up.
We have some DT. Once or if Irving gets back in the line up and caught up (which will likely be game 6) we will be good. I almost see why we weren’t to worried about it. Ward looked good.
LB are going to be stars this year. They had Wilson with the 2s. Lol. He was looking good. Gonna be a great rotational player this year and may start. No drop off in production with him in.
Jaylon looked amazing. He is healed and the light has come on. Did y’all see him in coverage down the seem? Step for step. And tackling with purpose.
Who was the LB that blitzed and blew there qb up? He got the pass off but wow. I thought we broke him.
LVE did what I thought, he looked a little confused but flies around. Nice diving attempt at a sideline pick. He caught it. He is gonna catch on and will be productive by mid season. Maybe not Sean Lee. But Lee wasn’t Lee his rookie year.
Secondary looked pretty good for a while. Corners are playing up close which is nice to see. I did think the middle of the field started looking open again. Again it’s preseason. Brown made some mistakes. One in the opposite side of the field that kept us from stopping a 3rd down.
Probly not as aggressive as I would like from the line in 3rd downs. Not enough pressure but again preseason game 1. Marinelli likely kept it light.
A lot of nice tipped balls. I see some turnovers coming our way this year.
