Defense can use some Jaylon Smith

I think our secondary would be solid with Jaylon Smith and some pass rushers on the D-line. I say try to bring back Claiborne and Carr for cheap, get Smith healthy and ready, and add some talent to the D-line. That should be our top priority.

Unless he's blitzing every play he won't make a difference. He'll just be another "good defender." We need a pass rush more than any team ever has. It's a GIGANTIC black hole in this team. The lack of it always loses huge games for us. At some point McCarthy and Rodgers said "Hey, we should just throw every down," and they were RIGHT.

Unfortunately I think Dallas needs more than Smith. That pass rush while decent enough to best most teams, is not going to be good enough to beat Rodgers.

They may have to use Romo's cap room on a guy like JPP. Lawrence, Mayowa, Irving while have shown flashes, are not there yet and may never will.

Until that nerve fires(properly), he is the least in my mind for next season. I hope Dallas doesn't pass up any LB signing/drafting because of waiting on him.

Would be a God send. Ready to see ANY playmaker on this defense. Whether it's a DB, LB, DE, just someone that wreaks havoc and stays healthy. Every team has one. We haven't going on 10 years now.
