Defense going forward

I'll be interested in what the defense will look like once we draft a stud rush player or two, & some corners. I would hope that is what happens. Although I have the utmost respect for how Rod M. gets his players to play hard for him, I've never been a big fan of the Tampa 2. The most pressure I saw our defense put on all year was vs Detroit, when our D-line was shorthanded. Rod ran the 3-2-6 scheme to perfection, putting 5-7 guys on the LOS, & making Stafford try to figure out who was coming & who was covering. It resulted in more pressures & sacks than we'd had all season. Even when we have our full complement of D-linemen, plus a stud or two that we draft, I don't know that he is going to fully implement anything close to that, unless the line is stressed with injuries. That said, I just don't think we can win the Super Bowl until we have a DC who is willing to attack QBs like we did that day. I'm hoping that once he feels he has a secondary he can trust, he will be willing to revisit the 3-2-6 scheme that was so effective in getting pressure.
