Defense has given up a total of 3 points the past 2 games...

very impressive performance over the last 2 weeks. The Rams touchdown was on special teams last week. And this week the defense stepped up once again and only gave up 3.

Even though we weren't playing offensive machines, we still are playing very good defense. Looks like they are improving each and every week. Who whoulda thought the defense would be bailing out the offense this week!?!

How many teams have their offense give up 6 turnovers and still win a game giving up only 24? If you give up 6 turnovers in the NFL that usually ends up giving up at least 30 I bet.

13 total points allowed by the defense...

218.3 yards per game allowed...

4.0 yards per play allowed...

29.7 per cent third down conversions allowed (11 of 37)...

That, friends, is some GOOOOOOD defense... admittedly, against three rather feeble offenses, but the Boys just shut them down totally...

This was easily the best defensive effort the Boys have given us this year... especially given how the offense tried to make their job just as hard as they possibly could...

Our defense is underrated..I hope they keep playing like they are!

seriously, the defense was incredible.. everyone played well..

the standouts:

Ware: 1.5 sacks, FF, that huge deflected pass

Newman: interception return was huge, some great tackles in the backfield

Roy: 9 tackles, a couple of big hits early set the defensive tone, and has anyone noticed that nobody has completed any passes on him for a few games now?

James: 9 tackles, seemed to always be involved

Spencer: 8 tackles, some nice pressure

and you know what? these are the guys who really should be our standouts.. Ware, Newman and Roy are our 3 big name, elite type guys.. James is our MLB, such an important position.. and Spencer is our #1 draft choice.. great to see all of them playing so well..
