We should have drafted a defensive stud over Tyler Smith IMO and we shouldn't have traded our 1st rounder For Cooper in 2018, instead we should have tanked and picked Nick Bosa or Devin White

This team would be in trouble if we hadn’t picked Tyler Smith. And sure, we could have drafted a stud with the Amari pick but you could use 20/20 hindsight vision looking back at every draft. You got to remember back to the Amari trade, we were rolling out Allen Hurns as WR #1 after offering Sammy Watkins $15 million a year. We had absolutely no talent at WR. We don’t win nearly as many games over the last few years without Cooper (understand no playoff success but we wouldn’t have even been there without him)

Their tackling has improved tremendously.

And have perfected the "Bear Hug" They wrap, don't let go, not many escape.

I don't know. I would have skipped the project players. That cost the team a lot a wins.

Awesome job. All they have to do is stick with the running game. Can Kellen do that? We will see.
so far it seems they are....
Zeke was averaging about 3.5 YPC...but they kept at it, and he had 22 rushes for 78
Not saying the 57 yarder doesn't count, but pollard other rushes was about 4.1 YPC....

and we rushed 30 times yesterday and same last 3 games.....we didn't stick to it the first game.

Well what I mean is when Dak gets back cause we all know he will be handed his job back.

as he should be the starting QB, because he clearly is the better QB. unless you are saying wins are a QB stat and has nothing to do with the team....

hopefully our commitment to the run stays.

It is not clear at all. Rush makes quicker decisions and is more accurate than Dak. Dak is a complete stat padder against terrible teams and late in games when the game is already out of hand. No way is he clearly the better QB.

The closest thing to this defense was Ware & co. From 06-09. But i might give a little edge to this defense over that one. Great to see

That defense played the run better. This defense has a better secondary and pass rushers.

Each team top pass rushers:
Ware, Spencer, Ratliff vs. Parsons, Lawrence, Armstrong.

Thats 14.4 points allowed avg per game. 19 17 16 10 10
that is impressive, would like to see a shut out .
two 10's in a row is surprising. And D scored a td in this game, and set up a fg, so that is 10 of the points.

NE just shut out detroit, and det had scored more points than any other team, twice as many as cowboys.
Just seemed to come out of nowhere. the pats also had the old uni;s red jerseys and patriot helmets. pretty nice looking, way better than
the dark crap they normally wear.

Dallas looked just like the raiders lol black and silver, half the time I thought I was watching the raiders.

Rush is ok accuracy and has no arm strength. it was obvious in a couple of the longer throws. that limits what you can really do on offense. he is not a risk taker and that' what he has been told. we average 167 passing per game. so the game is not in his hand to win. its in his hand not to lose (play it safe). he has 4 TDs in 4 games. the tigher it gets, the harder it gets for him

again, this is not a criticism. he is doing what he is asked. glad to have him on the team. but lets not forget 99.95% of this board wanted him gone in pre-season desparately arguing over finding another back up QB. now everyone is foaming at the mouth and going gaga....

You will win a helluva lot of games in the NFL with that.

I heard, don't know if it's true, that it's the first time in NFL history a team started with 5 games at 19 points or under allowed?
