Defense needs majority draft picks

You can’t say this early how FA will turn out but you can count on the number of draft picks you have you know your shortcomings so as GM along with McClay and his scouts the direction overwhelmingly needs to be on the defensive side of the ball at Lambeau field in April .

DL LB CB & Safety can all use help . Every facet of this defense is thin . All need help .
To be honest the direction seems to me a MM return . Don’t know why . If that’s true can the DC be changed at least .

You cannot go deep into the playoffs with this set up . Marcus Mariotta a back up just imitated a starter and marched right down Dallas throat to win in the closing seconds .

Dowdle paired with a top back, a TE that can get downfield and be dangerous in the red zone. False Start Ferguson is a bum and no show in the red zone.

IDK....WR, RB absolutely have to be addressed. I wouldnt rule out going OL at some point either. Tough to say until we see which FAs they end up brining back, but Id argue the defense has more of a chance to see improvement just via young guys getting better than the offense does. They really lack playmakers on that side of the football.

And with a suspect defense 4th & 1 three and change on the clock instead of feeding Leupke or RPO Lance what does MM do . Take the delay of game penalty and punt the win away to Wash .

You knew the defense wouldn’t hold up . Season gone no playoffs and MM punts . No guts no glory . The entire coaching staff needs to go .

They definitely need a lot. I wouldn't object to going heavy on the defensive side of the ball. But, they truly need to upgrade the WR2 and RB1. They need upgrades on both sides of the ball. Defense needs out number the offense.

No way it occurs just via the draft. Free agency, let me rephrase, the early part of free agency will have to be used. Unfortunately, Stephen has hinted that we may see a repeat of the 2024 offseason.

This team needs offense BADLY….they could use a lineman, a wide receiver, a running back maybe 2 if dowdle isn’t here this should be an offensive heavy draft
