A lot of that going around. I get it. But, let's not forget all the hurt players coming back next year.

I mean, Pride was a starting CB today for crying out loud.
both Diggs and Overshown have very serious injuries to come back from.
Lawrence is probably done.
Ferguson has regressed
Guyton needs serious work
Steele is Meh
WR, RB, DT, DE, LB, S, CB at the least

New Orleans steam roll Baltimore overwhelming lead Lions could have gone to 60 two non competitive loses to Phila collapses against Cincy & Wash couldn’t contain Purdy ….

You can’t say this early how FA will turn out but you can count on the number of draft picks you have you know your shortcomings so as GM along with McClay and his scouts the direction overwhelmingly needs to be on the defensive side of the ball at Lambeau field in April .

DL LB CB & Safety can all use help . Every facet of this defense is thin . All need help .
To be honest the direction seems to me a MM return . Don’t know why . If that’s true can the DC be changed at least .

You cannot go deep into the playoffs with this set up . Marcus Mariotta a back up just imitated a starter and marched right down Dallas throat to win in the closing seconds .
Nope, need a WR, RB and OT

I’ll give you the need for a compliment back to go with Dowdle and possibly a QB round 3 to clean out the QB room and back up and challenge Lee Majors the 60 million dollar man . Other then that Defense and a new DC
Stop typing. You always make no sense.

I know we need to stud defensive tackle, but I’ll tell you we need safety help as much or if not more

Our safety player was a major liability all year

Poor pursuit angles, missed tackles, terrible and coverage, late play recognition, and loss of assignment responsibility

We need better safety play, and I would take a stud safety with the first pick. I know that’s not popular.

No, we need another receiver on offense, tailback and TE.

Dowdle paired with a top back, a TE that can get downfield and be dangerous in the red zone. False Start Ferguson is a bum and no show in the red zone.
That's a sad indictment on our present offense (presuming you agree that we need to strengthen both run blocking and protection of Dak who's potentially going to be a sitting target).
I don't think it's the standard of our Receiver's that effect our passing game, it's the inability to make Defenses honest with our poor running game (limited progressions and teams playing two high Safeties as per the Blueprint).
McMillan would give us a target in the RedZone, but a WR isn't our main need in Rd1.

First picks should be for the trenches. DL or OL all day. It's a deep RB draft. Then LB CB S.
Amen brother. Get the fundi's right allows the 'stars to perform. Dak will need a heck of a lot of protection after this injury, need a running game and the Defensive line speaks for itself.

Agree 100 pct. They need the DL to not be a liability anymore. Time to make that an asset.

This team needs an identity. Personally, I like defenses that can get stops when needed and stop the run. That isn't Dallas right now.

But they need to decide what they want to be and then figure out what it will take to get there. I don't think they can catch Detroit or Philly in one year. They are too far behind after an offseason of inactivity last year. It may take 3 years based on where they are now and their CAP situation.

I would like to see a team less dependent on the QB and more of a running offense with a stout defense. But Jerry loves flash. He is never going to focus on building the defensive line and playing team defense. That doesn't make good TV.

This is why he spends $185 million of his CAP on offense and only $78 million on defense.
