Defense work ethic

Guy is a great athlete but instead of getting by on his natural talents he knows to take the next step it take work and film study. It is like having a much more athletic Sean Lee on the team. When I would watch Lee he always seemed to know where the ball was going based on what he was seeing in an offensive formation. Parson is showing this but brings a ton more athletic ability, it is going to be fun watching this guy grow as a player

And the bonus added to what Parsons did to improve in the Vikes game will ultimately filter down to the rest of the defense. If there are slackers, it will become evident and the players will hold that guy accountable.

Dak has shown the same resiliency and determination, and it appears the offense has stepped up it's game as Dak gives 100% to improve his game.

This is a more than one year culture, I suspect.

You ever in a can't wait to get to work mode? It's a great feeling and no longer just a job.

If he'd been on that D last season, I wonder if he feels that way?

Culture change is dead on. Their confidence in Quinn has resulted in increased confidence in themselves as players and the concept of team defense.

Parsons results were immediate. In the second half, those Vikings OL and Cousins were asking themselves "who in the hell is THAT GUY? Anyone want to block him"?

If you didn't watch Parsons at Penn St the last season he played, you missed something at Linebacker U because he could end up being the best one they ever produced. He played faster than everybody on the field.

yeah Parsons will take on a lead dog role next season once he’s not a rookie and has proven he’s the best player on D. He’s not going to let slacking happen, I don’t get the sense.

I'm teary eyed reading this.

The people that wrote the draft reports I read really need to consider different careers...

But I thank them dearly for their role in making 11 teams pass on him....the number on that back.
Now you got me all sniffly
