Other than a couple of games, all three have been largely true, especially considering the injuries.
Never said the defense was good. One more that cannot recognize an ALL TIME BAD D.
Bad players. Horrible coaching. That's the Cowboys.
This entire D needs to be replaced. I'm not sure there's one player worth keeping long term. I think Ware is flat out done (at least hopefully on this team) and Lee can't stay on the field.
Lee just heads for the ball at full speed, all day and all night. He doesn't take plays off. We need 11 players on D like Sean Lee.
Never said the defense was good.
But there have been games when they've gotten stops at times, caused turnovers to kind of hide some deficiencies, and gotten 0 help from the offense.
I think the Detroit game is a perfect example of that. What was it...4 turnovers and the offense got 10 points...7 of which came after a pick was returned inside the 5. Defense did enough to put that game away so that the 4th quarter wouldn't even have mattered.
What? That's not what I'm saying at all.So there's no such thing as inconsistent offenses that beat themselves? This defense has yet to stop an offense with a winning record.
What? That's not what I'm saying at all.
Also...KC and Philly both have winning records and were shut down, at home, by this defense.
So by that logic, if dallas lost 6-3, the defense still didn't do its job?KC scored enough points to win the game, and the defense's one job is to prevent that. I'll give you Philly, but that game reeked of a team that beat itself as well. Right now they look like a team that can hang 50 on this defense.
